Kaiir Elam

PRO: The Titans signed Kaiir Elam as a free agent at the end of November 2025 to add depth and experience to the secondary. Prior to his arrival in Tennessee, the 6-foot-1-inch, 191-pounder spent 10 games with the Dallas Cowboys at the beginning of the 2025 campaign. The University of Florida product was a first-round pick of the Buffalo Bills in 2022 and played three seasons with the club before being traded to Dallas in the 2025 offseason.

TITANS TIDBITS:  
•    Elam comes from a football family.  His father, Abram, played as a safety for seven seasons in the NFL for the Dallas Cowboys, N.Y. Jets, Cleveland Browns and Kansas City Chiefs. His uncle, Matt, was a first-round draft pick of the Baltimore Ravens in 2013.

CAREER TRANSACTIONS:  
•    The Riviera Beach, Fla., native was selected by the Buffalo Bills in the first round (23rd overall) of the 2022 NFL Draft.
•    Traded by the Bills with a 2025 fifth-round pick and a 2026 seventh-round pick to the Dallas Cowboys in exchange for a 2025 sixth-round pick.
•    Released by the Cowboys on Nov. 22, 2025.
•    Signed by the Titans as a free agent on Nov. 26, 2025.

COLLEGE: 
•    Played in 35 games with 26 starts at Florida, finishing his Gator career with 79 tackles, 26 passes defensed, six interceptions and a fumble recovery.
•    As a junior (2021), started nine games at cornerback and tallied 29 tackles, five passes defensed and an interception in his final collegiate season.
•    As a sophomore (2020), started all 12 games at cornerback and collected 39 tackles, two interceptions, 11 pass breakups and one fumble recovery on his way to earn first-team All-SEC honors.  Was a semifinalist for the Jim Thorpe Award.
•    As a true freshman (2019), appeared in all 13 games with five starts and totaled 11 tackles, three interceptions and four pass breakups to help Florida finish seventh nationally in scoring defense (15.5 points-per-game) and tie for the fourth fewest touchdowns allowed (23).
•     Majored in sport management at Florida.

PERSONAL:  
•    Attended The Benjamin School (Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.) and played both defensive back and wide receiver, totaling 97 catches for 1,490 yards and 15 touchdowns with nine interceptions and three sacks over four years on varsity.
•     Also played basketball and ran track.  Averaged 11.5 points, 4.8 rebounds and 4.4 assists per game his last basketball season.  Finished eighth in the 100 meters at the 2018 FHSAA Class 1A State Finals.
